Best Beaches in Bali

Bali is an island in the Indonesian Archipelago located just between the islands of Java and Lombok. It is among the most visited island destinations in the world and hosts millions of tourists each and every year. One of the reasons why travelers and vacationers travel to this island is to enjoy the many beautiful beaches in its coast. There are several beaches in the island, but here are the top beaches to visit in Bali:
Kuta Beach: Kuta beach is known as one of the best beaches for surfers. The beach features one of the biggest waves and clearest waters. Surfers call Kuta Beach the ‘Surfing Mecca of Bali’. The village of Kuta is also a tourist hotspot and there are several hotels, resorts and accommodations found near the beach. Kuta Beach also features one of the best locations for restaurants and spas on the island. Kuta beach is found in Kuta village in south Bali.
Legian Beach: Legian Beach located just north of Kuta and south of Seminyak. Legian Beach is probably the second most popular beach next to Kuta. The beaches and waters here are also clear and beautiful but Legian Beach is known more for its party scene and beach life at night. There are several clubs and extravagant night life establishments all over the beach.
Nusa Dua Beach: The Nusa Dua beach was designed specifically for high-end tourists. There are world class resorts and hotels just off shore from the beach and there is even a golf course within walking distance. The beaches here are shallow and perfect for children and families. There are 24-hour life guards on duty and security is tight around the area.
Jimbaran Beach: Jimbaran Beach was made for couples and honeymooners that prefer a more private setting for their beaches. Most of the resorts in this area are open only to hotel guests and so these beaches are mostly private and peaceful. There are also exclusive spots in Jimbaran beach reserved for the guests of small villas and cottages for rent.
Sanur Beach: Sanur beach is one of the oldest traditional beaches in Bali. It is open to the public and it is among the favorite spots for tourists who want a more casual atmosphere in the beaches. Although there are modern hotels and restaurants found near the beaches, there are still traditional customs, like local dramas and dances, found around the beach.
